- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪It was easy to get an appointment, she was nice but my experience was really bad. Started off ok, but by my 2nd and 3rd appointment I was so disappointed. Where to start... when I went in for my 2nd appointment, I had a whole list of simple things I wanted to talk about. She came in, logged into her computer, listened to the heartbeat and logged out of her computer. She was ready to go. Didn't ask how changing my serious meds is going, didn't ask how I was feeling, didn't ask if I had any concerns...She told me previously that she was a lawyer before, and boy could I tell. She really didn't want to do any charting at all. It felt like if she asked me questions then she would have to do something about my concerns. I've worked as a medical assistant in an OB/ GYN clinic and this whole thing was just absurd. She had me do an annoying 24 hour urine and never gave me the results. I called for them and they didn't know where they were and she said she wouldn't have done a 24 hour just for one trace of protein. I requested my records so I could bring them with me to a new OB and just as I suspected, she'd hardly charted anything. Was almost only check boxes from the very first appointment. Oh, and she never even gave me as much as a flyer about pregnancy or what to expect. My new OB sent me home with a whole packet of wonderful information. The office staff was also pretty terrible. You could tell they are not happy there either. My new OB office, you can tell they're smiling when they talk to me. Don't go to this office because it's close- that's why I went there. It's supposed to be a happy experience to find out about your baby and all these changes. When I left there, I was feeling really....blah, and unimportant :( I just can't imagine her actually delivering my baby- no way!September 15, 2017by April Naylor
